El Paredon
El Paredon was conceived by the Elias family, and defined by the family's passion for nature. With offices in Guadalajara and Miami, the Elias Elias AR design studio and their remarkable group of architects and designers have created a unique, gated estate residential project that is fresh and contemporary while integrating Mexican craftsmanship, materials, and design elements that respect the local context. El Paredon is nestled in a magnificent jungle enclave by the ocean, only 10 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta. Buffered by calm blue waters on one side and the lush jungle on the other, the property setting is a perfect sampling of the diverse topography where the Sierra Madre Mountains meet the ocean. The design of El Paredon has been shaped by its setting ? a natural jungle enclave offering spectacular ocean views. The generous, open floor plans with extensive terraces integrate nature into an almost organic architecture; these are dynamic designs responsive to the extraordinary location of this unique jungle setting. The lush surroundings enhance the home designs which blend seamlessly with the site?s natural flora. There are only twelve (12) Ocean Front Limited-Edition Estate Homes, each inspired by the natural elements. With lot sizes ranging between 13,000 sq ft to 24,000 sq ft, the architects and designers at Elias Elias AR will be ready to collaborate and work with you on the next masterpiece at El Paredon.

Location | South Shore
Combine the boundless green jungle with the surf-splashed rocks of a coast interspersed with private coves, add a place to view the constantly changing palette of the bay, and you have the South Shore, where rugged, low-density residences, as well as villas and other homes, dot the coastline on the curving road toward Barra de Navidad. Many forms of adventure are abundant here, including mountain climbing, birding, scuba diving, snorkeling, whale watching, several canopy tours and any number of trips into the jungle and mountains by horse, all-terrain vehicle or even on foot. A rustic spa is hidden off the main road in nearby El Nogalito. Home to several hotels and time-share condominiums, the South Shore is nevertheless primarily residential. This month, the list of pros and cons comes from homeowners in Sierra del Mar, one of the area's exclusive residential enclaves.
